Allianz Annuity Product Changes
Effective September 5, Allianz will discontinue sales of the MasterDex Plus Annuity. At this time, changes will also be made to the MasterDex 5 Plus Annuity and the Income Plus Benefit. The bonus will be reduced from 5% to 3%, the GMV will be reduced from 2% to 1.65% and the lifetime payout percentages on the Income Plus Benefit will decrease by 0.50% in each age band. Lastly, the Endurance Elite Annuity surrender charge period will increase from five years to six years while the fixed rate guarantee and annual point to point cap will both decrease.
