You talk to your clients about the value of an asset, the people and things they value in life, and the value of life insurance and annuities in their retirement plans. The word "value" is defined by Merriam Webster as "a fair return or equivalent in goods, services, or money for something exchanged." But for us at Creative Marketing, that just simply doesn't cut it.

For making the decision to do business with us, you can earn benefits that are unrivaled in the industry. If the name doesn't say it all, the five ways you can get paid on the business you submit with Creative will. That's right, you can get paid five ways on your cases – at ZERO cost to you. You don't even have to enroll in a program or fill out a form to make it happen.


First, you'll receive a competitive commission on the business you submit, just as you always have. Next up, your production generates marketing dollars you can earn via our Accelerated Marketing Plan (AMP). These uncapped quarterly cash rewards are a great way to pay for marketing expenses like seminars, client appreciation events, advertising and printing costs, and just about anything else you can think of. Then, you'll earn credits toward our annual agent incentive trip. For those of you who've attended a Creative Convention in years past, you already know about the experiences you enjoy and memories you make on these best-in-class trips. If you haven't yet qualified to attend one, now is the perfect time to start. Both annuity and life production submitted during this calendar year will get you closer to joining our 2013 Epic European Experience, a seven-night Mediterranean cruise that promises to be out of this world.


But in order for the Maximum Compensation Plan to stand apart, we think you need to get paid now and get paid later. For those of you doing business with carriers such as Aviva, Fidelity & Guaranty Life and National Western, the business you submit can translate into deferred compensation set aside on your behalf to be accessed during your retirement years. And given that you've dedicated your career to helping others retire comfortably, we think it's only right that when it's your turn to retire, you can do the same. That's why we've introduced your fifth way to get paid: our new IMO-provided deferred compensation plan.


REACHING YOUR MAX


Just like Creative's many firsts to market, our deferred compensation is a true game changer. You'll be automatically enrolled in the program as soon as you meet the qualification requirement and contributions start at $3 million of production in one calendar year. We'll make contributions on your behalf without you having to sacrifice a dime from your existing contracts or lift a finger, and soon you'll be able to calculate and track the money in your plan online at any time.

Contribution rates are made in a tiered structure, as seen in the chart below. You can earn up to 20 additional basis points for annuity production and up to 400 additional basis points for target life production. To keep the process simple, we've created a five-year vesting schedule, and each year's contribution vests individually. There is no penalty for not meeting the $3 million target in any year, and no re-enrollment is required. Plus, the deferral time and payout period are both in your control. You can start taking payouts as soon as five years from the contribution date, and select whether you want to be paid out over five years, over 10 years or in a lump sum. We've even built in hardship provisions to allow for earlier payouts should you become disabled or an unforeseeable emergency occurs.
