Fidelity & Guaranty Life is pleased to announce a dramatic increase in both of our five year MYGA’s, effective immediately.

Here are the details listed by product:

FG Guarantee-Platinum 5 Fixed Annuity Product:

• 3.50% effective yield, 2.50% comp to age 79 (1.25% comp age 80 to 90)
• Full value at death and no chargebacks on death
• Cumulative interest free amount
• Max Premium is $600k without Home Office approval
• State Variations in CT/NC/OK will also have 3.50% effective yield

FG Guarantee-Platinum Plus 5 Fixed Annuity Product:

• 3.60% effective yield, 4.40% year 1 with 3.40% years 2-5 (yield of 3.60%), 2.50% comp to age 79 (1.25% comp age 80 to 90)
• Surrender value at death (except in TX)
• Cumulative interest free amount
• Max Premium is $600k without Home Office approval

Transition Rules: Any application received by December 13, 2013 and issued paid within the 60-day rate hold period will receive the higher interest rates.
